Biography:

Texas Musician Gary Delz is a native of the Hill Country community of Kingsland, Born Gary Lynn Delz, Sept 21, 1960.
Attended Llano, Texas ISD and 1978 Alumni

Began drumming at age 2



Continued playing drums throughout school days into high school



1978
Graduated school and began drumming career, playing in numerous local acts in the Texas Hill Country, moving onto the Austin Music Scene in the mid 1980's, also forms his own music and special events promotion company

Also continues playing drums behind numerous other Austin and Texas Hill Country based artists.

Forms blues rock act The Gary Delz Power Trio along the way

     

Releases three critically acclaimed Indi CD's with his band

Eventually retires from music in 2008


 Is presented Texas Senate Proclamation #718 by Senator Troy Fraser for his promotions and talents in the Texas Music Industry



Plays roles in two Indi films by Joe "King" Carrasco:



The premier of "Rancho No Tengo", Alamo Draft House, Austin, 2009




  


Returns to playing in Fall of 2010 with former music boss Gary P Nunn
